Halloween is less than two weeks away! So, I thought I would put together some of my favorite costume inspiration for all of you to use for your own costumes! I believe you can DIY any costume so don’t think that you HAVE TO go out to a costume store and drop a ton of $$$. I’m DIY-ing my costume this year (and Brandon’s) so let me know in the comments if you would like to see what we’re being and how I’m putting it together.
Hope these ideas help you guys and please tell me your ideas for costumes this year.
I love a good military inspired costume. But don’t think you have to go out and buy one to get this look. Belt one of your boyfriends shirts (or brother or other man in your life), sew on some store-bought patches (Michael’s or other craft store has them), throw on some thigh high boots and aviators and you are good to go. One of my favorite movies growing up was Grease! This costume is not only sexy as hell, but also original and classic. As well as super easy to DIY. One trip to Forever 21 and you should be able to find everything you need. The 20s/Gatsby look is always a favorite of mine; and there is so many ways that you can do it. Find something vintage looking at a second-hand store and borrow some jewelry from an older family member. The more the better so pile those jewels on! Put on a fun headpiece (Amazon or Etsy is a great place to find things like that) and you look like you walked straight out of the Gatsby movie.
Can I get a little praise for the Disney princess costume? I absolutely love every Disney princess and all of the different things you can do with these costumes. You can really make them your own so it’s perfect for everyone!Sticking to my FAV Grease theme: be a pink lady! Such a retro, fun and flirty look.
Unleash your inner superhero and be SUPERWOMAN! This costume is super sexy and definitely a fav during the Halloween season. Another idea is to turn any of the male superheroes into female costumes. Who says you need to be a boy to be spiderman?!
You already know I love the princesses so why not get all your girls together and be the whole squad! #squadgoals
Not only is this super cute, but there are a million tutorials on how to make your own loofah on Pinterest and YouTube to make this costume super easy and affordable.
How cute are all of these social medias? And super DIY friendly!
Literally my absolute favorite celebrity couple: Eric and Jessie Decker! They can do no wrong and how hot do they look as Danny and Sandy from Grease?
Shoutout to my beautiful friend Hallie and her boyfriend Johnny for coming up with this last minute Mr. and Mrs. Smith costume! If you can get your man to wear a dress, more power to you! But I love the idea of the Spartans.
I had to save the best for last! If you know me at all then you know my absolute favorite show is Sons of Anarchy! A baby Jax Teller is not only badass but totally adorable!
I hope you guys liked all of my costume ideas and hopefully got some inspiration along the way.
