Happy weekend everyone! Well, it’s Friday, which in my opinion, once it hits 4 o’clock, it’s the weekend! I have some fun stuff going on the next few days that I’m super excited about. For starters, tonight is “Bride Day” on TLC, so you know I’m gonna be on my couch with some Arctic Zone Vanilla Maple Ice Cream (my favorite healthy/macro friendly treat) and a blanket. Yes, I know, I’m an old lady at heart but who cares? Tomorrow is gonna be a big one! BRANDON IS DRIVING HOME FOR GOOD YAY YAY YAY!!! Who else is excited?! Haha probably just me, but I can not explain to y’all how excited I am for him to be home for good. No expiration date and no leaving anytime soon! He will be officially moved home and back with me after over 3 years of doing long distance. Hallelujah! Also, my parents are going to a black tie wedding Saturday night so I’m going to help my mom get all dolled up. And on Sunday, I will be joining my girlfriend Jen at a soul cycle event to benefit the research and cure for diabetes. This is something that’s very close to my heart as my dad has type 2 diabetes. While he’s handling his impeccably well, there are those out there who still need so much help and I’m so excited to be apart of such a wonderful cause. And I am obsessed with Soul Cycle so I’m super pumped.
Well why don’t we get down to what this post actually is. Recently I’ve been sharing a lot about some of my hobbies and letting you guys get to know me a bit more, I thought I would share one of my other creative pastimes. A few years back my mom got obsessed with big chalkboards and making them. So, of course she put one in her kitchen and wanted me to try my artistic talents at drawing something on it. Now, keep in mind, when I draw anything with a pencil, it looks like poop. But for some reason when I use chalk (or chalk marker or icing) it turns out pretty good. So, here is a compilation of a lot of the chalkboards I’ve done for many different events and pieces of decor. Hope you like ’em!
