Be ready for a picture overload. I apologize in advance for this but I just had to share all of the beautiful pictures from my bridal shower this past Sunday. My mom threw me the most amazing and perfect shower and it was such a wonderful day. I was surrounded by all of my friends and family (on my side) and felt so blessed. To be honest, I couldn’t even believe it was MY shower and that I’m really getting married. It’s so surreal to me. Thank you to my mom for making this so special and thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with me. A special thank you to my amazing friend and photographer, Nicola (click to visit her page) for capturing this incredible day. Also, an additional thank you to EB Party rentals for the beautiful chiavari chairs that all my guests sat in! They were the perfect finishing touch. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better day. But enjoy all of these pics and stay tuned for a guest post from my momma where she shares her tips for throwing a fabulous bridal shower; because obviously she knows what she’s talking about.
As I’m sure many of you already know, October is breast cancer awareness month- a month that’s dedicated to the education and spread of awareness and fundraising for this disease that has touched so many lives of most people around us, and all over the world. Take action and be informed about prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and about finding a cure. By doing so, you’re not only helping yourself, you’re helping those who are already affected.
Share your picture wearing your pink #ShoesForACure and spread the word about breast cancer awareness month. Being knowledgeable and smart about your health is something that should be a constant, not just for one month. So check yourself, get checked, and encourage those around you to be proactive as well. There is always a way that you can help and contribute to finding a cure. Even if it’s just talking to someone around you about it. Knowledge is power, so spread it. If you’d like to learn more about how you can help the cause visit The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
Their mission is to “help women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.” And you can too.
