As I’m sure many of you already know, October is breast cancer awareness month- a month that’s dedicated to the education and spread of awareness and fundraising for this disease that has touched so many lives of most people around us, and all over the world.  Take action and be informed about prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and about finding a cure.  By doing so, you’re not only helping yourself, you’re helping those who are already affected.
Share your picture wearing your pink #ShoesForACure and spread the word about breast cancer awareness month.  Being knowledgeable and smart about your health is something that should be a constant, not just for one month.  So check yourself, get checked, and encourage those around you to be proactive as well.  There is always a way that you can help and contribute to finding a cure.  Even if it’s just talking to someone around you about it.  Knowledge is power, so spread it.  If you’d like to learn more about how you can help the cause visit The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
Their mission is to “help women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.”  And you can too.

Engagement Photo Look & Inspo

Today, I want to start sharing the fashion side of all of my #weddingseries events, shoots, etc.  I’ll be sharing direct links (if possible) to exactly what I  wore as well as links to other similar items.  I love putting together my looks for all of these events and thought you all would love to know where you can get similar items and some inspiration.  I got my dress for our engagement shoot at Nordstrom from the brand, Show Me Your Mumu. I originally had a completely different idea of what I wanted to wear for my shoot, but as soon as my photographer came to me with the idea of such an ethereal, romantic look, I was sold.  I came across this dress and immediately fell in love with it.  It fit perfectly and cinched in my waist just right.  And bonus, it’s currently ON SALE!  It flowed perfectly on the beach and was equal parts sexy and romantic but also super classic.  Exactly the look I was going for.
